2020 First Years of School Literacy Assessment Training

Day 3 of 3 Workshop

Last day to register Wednesday 19 February 2020

Training for First Years of School Literacy Assessment will be offered to Literacy leaders working in R-2 settings. Teacher/leaders with responsibility for R-2 Literacy will be required to ensure that all R-2 staff are familiar with relevant assessment practices.

Teachers will be required to attend ONE full day session.

Monday 10  February - 9.00am - 4.00pm, Room 7
Wednesday 19 February - 9.00am - 4.00pm. Room 7
Monday 24 February- 9.00am - 4.00pm, Room 7

Participation will be limited to 30 in each session.

AITSL AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS INCLUDE:

• Standard 1: Know students and how they learn
• Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it
• Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
