Quality Learning and Leading in the Middle Years
Last day to register: Friday 14 February 2020
NETWORK FOCUS
At the heart of our Living Learning Leading Framework is the inherent belief that all learners are competent, capable leaders who have the agency to co construct learning with others and be agents of change. Building on the learning of the 2017-2019 Middle Years Network, the Quality Learning and Leading in the Middle Years Network (QLLMY) seeks to increase learner agency and to support students, educators and leaders to work and learn together in new ways, honouring identity and diversity. This year we aim to build a broader repertoire of strategies for increasing student engagement and agency in their learning. We also aim to provide the prompts to embed changes in curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment and reporting which promote student agency and co-construction. We will support educators to be more confident to design learning in a co-constructed way and to be authors of a common language for articulating learning and growth.
