Are you excited about the new Crossways Redesign and the explicit focus on children developing their skills and dispositions as they learn in Religious Education?
Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of enculturating skills and dispositions which enable all learners to flourish in the RE classroom?
Are you wanting to explore what it really means to teach for and nurture spiritual awareness and religious identity, discernment, engagement, dialogue, respect, interpretation and seeking truth with your learners?
Then this is the workshop for you.
This interactive workshop will focus on going deeper in understanding the 'why' of the 'Wisdom' strand, the 'what' of the 'Wisdom' strand and also the 'how' of the 'Wisdom' strand. We will also explore the relationship between the CESA Key Capabilities and the Wisdom strand.
