According to the Guinness World Records of 1995 the Bible is the best-selling book of all time! Consisting of two parts, The Old Testament which tells the sacred story of the Jewish people, and the New Testament which contains the essence of Christian belief in Jesus, this workshop will attempt to answer the question, “Why?”. The structure of the Bible and its major themes will be explored focussing on some of the wonderful characters whose stories have  inspired people of faith throughout the ages. Making links to the ‘Knowledge Strand: Sacred Texts’ of the redesigned Crossways, this workshop will also focus on age-appropriate strategies to make these ancient texts relevant and meaningful for our students today.

Please note that this PLW is a repeat of the one held in 2020
