All schools are invited to participate in the theology series of workshops Via MS Teams.
This is Workshop 2 of 3 in the Enhancing Catholic Identity theology series. Please note that the 3 workshops must be attended to attain SAM status.
Dear Participants
I am communicating to you regarding the ECSI workshop scheduled 11 June, which is being adjusted in light of the current health recommendation regarding Corona virus.
In the situation in which we all currently find ourselves, and in the interest of protecting the safety, health and wellbeing of our community, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The workshop on Thursday 11 June will be adjusted as TEAMS online learning with James McEvoy and Christina Jonas and we will be focussing on recontextualisation which we previously postponed.
As part of this next workshop I would love the opportunity to hear from you as to the COVID implications for you and your schools and how you are travelling.
Below is the TEAMS link for our workshop:

Other workshops
Theology of dialogue has been rescheduled to 27 August.
Other workshops are being assessed and we will keep you informed regarding any further developments through CESA Registration emails.
With the prayers and thoughts of the RE team for you, your families and your school community.
This workshop will introduce school teams to the underlying theology of Recontextualisation. It will continue to assist ECSI schools to continue to interpret their reports and associated data. ECSI schools are encouraged to attend all three theology workshops in this series.
We recommend at least 2 people from each school to attend.
Fr James McEvoy will expand our understanding of the underlying theology of Recontextualisation. Following this, we will engage in practical strategies to apply such theology in your school.
Facilitators: Fr James McEvoy (theology) with Christina Jonas (theology in your school)
Intended for: Principals and School Leadership Team including APRIMs/RECs
Registration: Closes Friday, 5 June 2020
If you have any registration queries please contact Christina Lagozzino at Christina.lagozzino@cesa.catholic.edu.au or phone 8301 6659.
