Inclusive Practices

Day #1

INTENDED AUDIENCE
This session is for preschool educators and will focus on the pedagogical practices and environmental considerations that ensure all children have equal opportunities to learn and participate.

THE WORKSHOP

It will include developing:

• Increased focus on recognising diversity and inclusion;
• Inclusive practices in day to day programming;
• A deeper understanding of the meaning and implications of children's behaviour and interactions; and
• Understanding of children's functionality and required adjustments focusing on building on their strengths and capabilities.

Educators please bring with you a series of observations of at least two children and an IELP.

Registration essential by Monday 17th February 2020
