Workshop Focus
CESA has invited Professor Sandra Milligan from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at University of Melbourne to discuss The paper, titled: ‘Beyond ATAR: a proposal for change’.
This session will look at the ‘Beyond ATAR: a proposal for change’ paper and consider the implications for the nature of a senior secondary certificate, the creation of policy levers in education, the way we teach and the impact on student’s learning.
Later in the session Professor Sandra Milligan will facilitate a session on 'designing a learner profile', identifying preferred components, and workshopping challenges and strengths of a learner profile from the perspectives of schools and students. Please encourage SACE Coordinators, Directors of Learning and Teaching, EAL Coordinators and Learning Enrichment Coordinators to attend this session.
