Focus Teachers Workshop - Friday 22 November 2019   9am - 1pm

In preparation for 2020 the CESA Aboriginal Education Team will be holding Aboriginal Education Focus Teacher Orientation Workshops.

These workshops are targeted at teachers who will be taking on the role or continuing as Focus Teachers for 2020.

The focus for the sessions will include

• Individual Learning Plans for Aboriginal students
• Reconciliation Action Plans for your school
• Program overviews for CESA Aboriginal Education
• • Aboriginal Cultural Residency Programs
  • ACR Teacher/Leader Network
  • Aboriginal Cultural Competency Workshops
• Resources online and in CRIS
• Calendar for 2020 – dates to remember
• Professional Learning opportunities

This will also be an opportunity to network with other focus teachers, sharing ideas, insights and questions about the role.
