The Learning and Technologies Team are delighted to offer CESA schools an opportunity to engage in a student directed, ‘mission focused’ entrepreneurship education program, The Big Ideas Challenge. The Big Ideas Challenge has been purposefully designed in collaboration with educators to engage young people in a fun and fast paced day of listening, learning and doing. Delivered by leading entrepreneurship facilitators Future Anything.

The key purpose of our Future Anything partnership is to amplify practices and approaches in animating the educational objectives and priorities of the Living Learning Leading Framework in order to build the entrepreneurial mindset, and student agency of young people, in addition to the engagement of young people, particularly women, in STEM.

The event will be delivered in both regional and metropolitan locations, and will engage students in an entrepreneurial mindset and framework to:

  • Rapidly prototype their own innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions that make the world a better place
  • Engage with design thinking methodology to solve problems, including emphasising, ideating, validating, prototyping and pitching
  • Lead self and others
  • Collaborate and project manage
  • Be engaging storytellers; pitching (and persuading) with purpose

Attending Teachers can also participate in a Q & A session focusing on how the Future Anything program can integrate within their school context.

The Big Ideas Challenge can facilitate small extension groups to whole Year levels. The program has been contracted to be facilitated for up to 200 students per program.
