CESA Child Safety and Wellbeing Network 

SECONDARY

DESCRIPTION:

The CESA Child Safety and Wellbeing Network sessions will focus on designing quality teaching and learning utilising the Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum within the Australian Curriculum and student agency in developing key capabilities.

The network will meet for three whole day sessions in primary and secondary groups. It is expected that participants will attend all three sessions and undertake both planning tasks and targeted teaching and learning with the Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum between sessions.

The Inclusion and Learning team through Andrea Richardson will facilitate the professional learning including:

• Key capabilities as drivers of learning
• Integration of Australian Curriculum learning areas and Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum
• Design and moderation of learning and assessment tasks in Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum.

Primary and Secondary Learning coordinators, Child Protection hub group leaders and teachers
