A workshop for Principals, APRIMs/RECs and key teachers of Religious Education in the Port Pirie Crossways Network*

*This particular workshop is only open to schools in the Diocese of Port Pirie and in Clare and Yorketown. 

This workshop is Phase 1 of the Networked Implementation Program of the redesign of the Crossways Religious Education which is facilitated by the Religious Education Team. This two term program is being rolled out in staggered offerings over 2019 and 2020.

In this workshop school leaders and teachers will have the Networked Implementation Process explained and they will develop familiarity with the structure, content and pedagogy of the new Crossways curriculum (in draft form). There will also be engagement with some examples of quality teaching and learning in RE using the new Crossways curriculum and to exploring possible learning design templates. The day will also allow for opportunities to create professional learning networks.

Please note: This day is Phase 1 of the Networked Implementation Program of the redesign of Crossways Religious Education for the Port Pirie Crossways Network. Participants are required to be actively involved in each of the 4 phases of the Program. Further details about the Networked Implementation Program can be found in the Circular emailed to the school leaders in Port Pirie, Yorketown and Clare on 22 March 2019.
