Aboriginal Cultural Residency Pedagogical Leadership Network
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This professional learning network is designed to support school leaders and teachers engaged with the Aboriginal Cultural Residency Program to investigate and collect evidence of effective pedagogies in the context of:
- Improving learning and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students
- Enhancing cultural respect and understanding in school communities
Using the Australian Curriculum General Capabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross curriculum priorities and AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers, participants will explore and develop an inquiry that links with their school plans and priorities. Participants will have the opportunity to share their inquiry and learning with the other network participants.
School representation is required at all four meetings.
