First Years of School Literacy Assessment Training

Last day to register Wednesday 06 March 2019

Training for First Years of School Literacy Assessment will be offered to Literacy leaders working in R-2 settings. This will be offered as a 'train the trainer' model where personnel with responsibility for R-2 Literacy will be required to ensure that all R-2 staff are familiar with relevant assessment practices.
Teachers will be required to attend ONE full day session. There are three option to choose from and see dates below.

Dates/Times:

Monday 18  February - 9.00am - 3.30pm, Room 6
Wednesday 27 February - 9.00am - 3.30pm. Room 6
Wednesday 13 March - 9.00am - 3.30pm, Room 8

AITSL AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS INCLUDE:

• Standard 1: Know students and how they learn
• Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it
• Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
