The Old Testament is a collection of books containing a range of genres and forms that address many of the issues that concern students today - e.g. the role of women, liberation from oppression, care for the earth and social justice. This workshop* will explore these themes by engaging with a range of Old Testament texts, including the story of the Exodus, the prophets and the psalms. The workshop will also focus on strategies to help make these ancient texts relevant and meaningful for our students today.
