Cultivating Wisdom and Contemplation

Friday, 15 March 2019

Facilitated by Dr Peter Mudge this day will provide an opportunity to explore teaching and cultivating wisdom in the curriculum and contemplative pedagogy. Peter is a highly regarded presenter and expert in the field of spirituality and his knowledge and leadership in this area is cutting edge. This will provide an opportunity for APRIMs to deepen their capabilities to explore the redesigned Crossways with their staff and in particular develop understandings of the Wisdom strand and the role of contemplative practice in pedagogy. Peter will also be sharing some recently developed sample materials for teachers on spiritual formation, will provide opportunities for collaboration with colleagues and encourage questions to guide content and exploration on the day.

About the Facilitator: Dr Peter Mudge is an experienced educator, lecturer and consultant. He is passionate about Catholic Religious Education and practical teaching in the class-room, between teacher spirituality and lived experience within the school, parish and community, and inviting participants to move from busyness and uncritical thinking to love and service in Jesus Christ.

If you have any queries please contact Elaine Mulhall on 8301 6629 or elaine.mulhall@ cesa.catholic.edu.au.
