Workshop Information

The key purpose of the Future Ready Program is to amplify practices and approaches towards the educational objectives and priorities of CESA STEM Learning and Middle Years Initiatives to continue:

1. Building system capacity
2. Building leader and teacher capacity
3. Building dynamic and sustainable partnerships.

The Future Ready Program for Years 6-9 teachers, unleashes the curriculum innovations of staff, helping them to create real-world, classroom ready units for students. With a tailored focus on STEM, teaching teams will be coached through a strategic design process which will deliver unique, fully resourced, project based learning units. Participants must attend all 4 sessions. Facilitated by Education Changemakers.

Participants are required to attend all workshops:

Core FOCI and Priorities

  • STEM
  • Project-Based Learning
  • Integration of Curriculum 

AITSL National Professional Standards for Teachers Include

Standard 1:  Know students and how they learn
Standard 2:  Know the content and how to teach it
Standard 3:  Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
Standard 5:  Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning

Intended Audience: Middle Years Teachers who teach Science, Mathematics and/or Technologies
