Nationally Consistent Collection of Data
(NCCD) for Students with Disability
 CESA Moderation Session

Catholic Education OfficeConference Centre Room 6
 116 George Street, Thebarton

The Inclusion and Learning Team will facilitate 7 NCCD Moderation sessions at the Catholic Education Office during Term 2, 2018 to assist schools in confirming levels of adjustments for students with disability.

All sessions will be held at the Catholic Education Office and engagement via Cisco will be available at all sessions for country schools. Where country schools group together for 1 session, a Consultant may be available to join your group.

All participants must register for attendance for one of the 7 sessions via CESA Registraion Centre as there is a limit to 30 participants per session.

School Leaders, Students with Disability Coordinators, and Primary and Secondary teachers.

Due to new requirements for NCCD, all schools are expected to participate in moderation. Schools are encouraged to send 2 participants.

Schools are asked to bring:

    ·   a summary of the adjustments currently being made for 2 students at different levels of adjustment. It is particularly relevant to engage in discussion where the school is unsure about the current level of adjustment. The summaries will be shared with other participants at table groups.

    ·   a summary that is approximately 2-3 paragraphs and less than 1 page. It is helpful to bring 5 copies of each summary to share with the table of participants.

Please do not bring folders of evidence.

Participants are asked to refer to the attached map for car parking details for the Queen of Angels Church car park.

Please note there are roadworks in George Street, Thebarton, which are expected to cause traffic delays until June 2018. Traffic is restricted to one lane travelling west. Traffic cannot enter George Street from South Road.
