Child Safety and Wellbeing Network 2018

Description:

The CESA Child Safety and Wellbeing Network will focus on Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum, curriculum design with the Australian Curriculum and quality teaching and learning. It will consist of a series of three network sessions with a focus on developing, teaching and moderating child safety curriculum plans and assessment tasks.

The professional learning sessions will focus on:

• Capabilities as drivers of curriculum
• Integration of Australian Curriculum Learning areas and Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum
• Design and moderation of Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum plans and assessment tasks

It is expected that participants will attend all three child safety and wellbeing network sessions and undertake both planning tasks and targeted teaching and learning with the Keeping Safe Child Protection curriculum between sessions.
