The following professional learning opportunity is a component of the Catholic Education SA Middle Years Learning Initiative. The CESA Middle Years Learning Initiative represents our understanding of the optimum learning environment for young people in the middle years of school. This Initiative will support an innovative and focused approach to teaching and learning in the middle years and animate the vision and identity of Catholic Education in South Australia.
As many Catholic schools prepare to welcome Year 7 for the first time in 2019, the forum will explore the importance of visible partnerships between primary and secondary school, building a sense of belonging for students and families, and open consultation and active listening. Mark Corrigan, Amanda Price and Liz Dickinson will each share insights and perspectives from their various involvements in the recent initiatives in the Tea Tree Gully Catholic Community and the Marymount/Sacred Heart College amalgamation.
