This day will focus on the contemporary pedagogies, underlying principles and the theology which has shaped the re-design of Crossways. We will explore concept based teaching and Inquiry methodology with a focus on how Enduring Understandings can add depth to students' skills in questioning, interpreting, making meaning and dialogue in Religious Education.
The structure, features, terminology and purpose of the redesigned Crossways curriculum will be unpacked and we will share examples of high quality teaching and learning in the primary and early years RE classroom.
