INTENDED AUDIENCE
This workshop is offered free of charge and will be useful for SPiCE coordinators, OSHC directors, occasional care educators and early childhood teachers and educators.

THE WORKSHOP

Rituals and Celebrations

SPiCE playgroups have a focus on engaging families in their children’s learning and yet we sometimes forget this when it comes to celebrating.

This workshop will explore how we can celebrate important events like Easter, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days, and Christmas while still keeping it meaningful to the children and deepening their learning.

During this workshop we will also be looking at rituals and how you can incorporate them into your everyday practice in playgroup. Rituals are about how we focus on and value everyday times with a sense of spirituality.

This workshop will be repeated on 6th March 2018 from 9am - 1pm.

Registration essential by Monday 19th February 2018

Morning Tea will be provided.

Please bring your own lunch and your SPICE folder!
