Thank you for your interest in this exciting research partnership between Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) and the University of South Australia (UniSA) School of Education.
As part of the commitment by the Catholic Education Office to support schools to increase the engagement, uptake and achievement of students in and across the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 2018 CESA STEM UniSA Forum. In the registration section, you will be asked to choose the workshop you would like to attend at the Forum: 1. Connect to STEMParticipants will experience hands-on sample activities from programs such as clinical biology, sport science, electronics and coding and investigate how these programs can deepen understanding of STEM, address general capabilities and integrated learning 2. Getting down to the Root CauseEducation Changemakers will help you to deeply understand the wicked problems you’re up against in your school or classroom in relation to STEM, so that you can create a question and generate solutions that get to the heart of the issue.
Please note that choosing a workshop does not guarantee that you will be in your chosen workshop, due to limited spaces. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
