Workshop Description

This 1 day workshop will provide teachers with an introduction to computer programming in the primary years, with links to the Australian Curriculum Digital Technologies subject. Participants will:

  • Design computational algorithms
  • Develop their understanding of fundamental programming concepts such as sequencing, branching and iteration
  • Explore a variety of coding tools

Workshop Information

  • No prior computer programming experience required
  • A combination of iPad apps, PC software and unplugged activities will be available for participants to try
