Minecraft Edu: Living Sustainably

CESA, in partnership with Microsoft AU, is offering schools an opportunity to explore the Minecraft Edu gaming tool to develop curriculum with a focus on sustainability, the environment and ecological conversion. Through a series of face-to-face workshops, self-paced tutorials and consultant support teachers will develop lessons and units of work that inspire and engage students. Minecraft provides a platform to build General Capability skills and explore multiple learning areas. Your students could use Minecraft to:

• Build sustainable eco-friendly cities
  
• Develop equitable and ethical farming practices
  
• Design environmentally friendly machines
  
• Deliver a narrative about our care for the common home
