Moderation of EAL - Assessment (Levelling) for 2018 Data Collection Process Last Day to Register: Monday 28 May 2018
COURSE DESCRIPTION
To be considered for support from the CESA EAL Program in 2019, schools will need to submit data indicating the numbers of EAL students enrolled and their level of need, assessed using the Language and Literacy Levels. To ensure consistency across schools in the interpretation of levels and level decisions, schools must ensure that teachers assessing student texts have attended at least one of the following moderation days.
COURSE INFORMATION When: Term 2 - Friday 01 June 2018, 9.00am - 4.00pm Monday 04 June 2018, 9.00am - 4.00pm Location: Catholic Education Conference Centre - Rooms 7 & 8 116 George Street, Thebarton A maximum of 45 participants for each workshop

PROGRAM OUTLINE:
IMPORTANT NOTES:Participants must bring their student work samples, hard or electronic copy of the Language and Literacy Levels and relevant stationery. In consideration of others, participants are reminded that during individual levelling time noise is to be kept to a minimum. Cost: no workshop fee
