PROGRAM INFORMATION

This year's program is a wonderful opportunity to engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in the Warriparinga Bushtucker, History and Music Workshop learning about history, native plants, animals, scar trees and wetlands.  Music and traditional instruments will be introduced to students and they will work with Apakajah,  a duo consisting of Jonathan and Dion. Jonathan is already well known and respected throughout CESA as a partner, colleague and friend with the ATSI Education Team since 2012. He is a qualified and outstanding leader and educator.

The day will conclude with a traditional closing Ceremony.

STUDENT REGISTRATIONS

Please register each student INDIVIDUALLY including full name and year level via this registration page along with the name of the accompanying supervising teacher.

PLEASE NOTE, if you have not already done so, you must 'Sign Up' as a member before you can register. It may take up to 48hrs to receive an email confirmation with your username and password.

As per the SACCS Excursions Policy, schools are responsible for providing the required ratio of teachers to students for each participating school thereby fulfilling the duty of care requirement.

This will also enable teachers to interact with the students, meet other Focus Teachers and build relationships with members of the Aboriginal community. ATSI Education team members will also be present.
