A joint CESA and NRM workshop that connects ecological conversion and the call to live our faith in our relationship with the environment with ways of engaging community, developing natural spaces, creating curriculum and promoting sustainable practices. Understand how Pope Francis' Laudato Si challenges our understandings of our relationship with the environment and challenges us to a conversion of the heart, an ecological conversion. Set at St Catherine's in Stirling you will have an opportunity to investigate the wetland, nature play areas and gardens to re-imagine how your site might provide spaces for learning, conversion and engagement. Hear from peers in other Catholic schools about projects and initiatives and collaborate and network. Find ways to connect curriculum, sustainability and integral ecology with the faith mission, prayer life and school vision. Develop new understandings about how to engage your school community with agency in creating spaces to promote learning, engagement and challenging conventions. This will be grounded in developing an understanding of the child and our deep call to live in a connected manner, fostering harmonious relationships and promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
