SESSION 3

COURSE INFORMATION
This workshop is intended for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Focus Teachers and school leaders with responsibility for ATSI education.

COURSE CONTENT

The Focus Teacher Program, Session 3, will provide participants with opportunities to:

• engage with teachers and cultural Artists in Residence that have begun work in our schools in Terms 1 and 2.
• further develop an understanding of supporting school communities to sustain improvement of the learning and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander students through Action Research and pedagogical change.
• increase understanding of the development of Reconciliation Action Plans.

• Standard 2: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
• Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments
