Dear Colleagues

I wish to invite you to an information session on the work of the APRIM Policy and Guidelines Committee, at which there will be the opportunity for initial consultation. There is a choice of two identical sessions at the CEO (CISCO will be available for both sessions).

Monday 3 July – Room 6 – Catholic Conference Centre, George St, Thebarton
(4 - 5.30pm)

Or

Tuesday 4 July – Boardroom – Catholic Education Office, George St, Thebarton
(4 - 5.30pm)

The information provided at these sessions will be similar to a presentation at the CESA Religious Leader’s Day on 5 May’, namely engaging with a draft revised APRIM policy, the proposed structure for a new procedures document, and the main recommendations of the ‘Exploration of Industrial and Funding Models for the APRIM Role into the Future’ Working Party which impact on the development of conditions of employment.

The APRIM Policy and Guidelines Committee was formed in October 2017 by the Catholic Identity and Leadership Standing Committee (CILSC) of South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS). The main work of this Committee is to review the SACCS APRIM Policy and Implementation Procedures (2009) and to develop guidelines for the working conditions of APRIMs. More information about the Committee was included in a circular from Bruno Vieceli on 11 November 2016.

The Working Party has been asked to

1.       Develop draft guidelines for APRIM working conditions taking into account the recommendations of the ‘Exploration of Industrial and Funding Models for the APRIM Role into the Future’ Working Party

2.       Review the 2009 APRIM Policy and Implementation Procedures and propose a revised SACCS policy and any associated procedures and guidelines

3.       Consult with APRIMs and other key stakeholders

4.       Report regularly to CILSC, with final recommendations by October 2017.
