This Professional Development day will break open the psychological processes at work during the student reflection days/ retreats so that we better understand ‘why’ we do what we do leading to a more effective experience for all. The core elements of a good reflection day/retreat will be examined and a wide variety of resources looked at. The day will look at;

  • The role of story
  • The role of the mentor
  • Ritual
  • Symbol
  • Ice-breakers
  • God time
  • Sacred Word

Time will be spent looking at the different types of retreat; the reflection day, the twilight retreat, the theme retreat, the overnight retreat, the street retreat, etc.
