COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Literacy, Languages and Learning team on behalf of the Catholic Education Office is pleased to invite Principals and leaders of learning to participate in a conversation with Paul Meldrum from Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta. Paul is currently working as Head of Learning innovations and offers expertise in three critical areas of leading learning, school design and technology systems. Paul will draw on his experience at the Diocese of Parramatta to host a structured conversation with Principals and leaders of learning in South Australian Catholic schools and CEO consultants on the experience of working together to lead change.

Principals, School Leaders and Members of Partnerships for School Improvement Networks

PROGRAM OUTLINE:
The day with Paul will proved opportunity to reflect on: 

  • how our schools have framed the work of leading learning for the next few years
  • the narratives we are building
  • the strategies we are implementing
  • the enablers we put in place and how we measure their performance

The day will be organized in three sessions:

  • Session 1: 'Framing the work - from Improvement to Transformation' followed by a facilitated thinking/reflection/feedback session
  • Session 2: 'Designing for Learning' followed by a facilitated thinking/reflection/feedback session
  • Session 3:  Q & A Panel - what's still challenging your thinking?
Cost: no workshop fee - No TRT provided

Catering: morning tea and lunch will be  provided
