"Turning Play Inside, Out: Nature Play and Outdoor Learning in Schools"

Our guest speakers will be:

• Julie Slaghekke and Jason Tyndall (Nature Play SA) 
  
• Katia Pederson and Katherine Belperio (Reception Teachers from St Martin's School, Greenacres)
  
• Tom Melingakos, Catholic Education Office

Julie and Jason will provide information on the new resource they are developing and discuss how to implement best practice in nature play for educational environments.

Katia and Katherine will present their research into developing learning outdoors as an inherent part of their pedagogy and practice.

Tom will share his perspective as an educator and a parent.

• hear about inspiring practice in nature play and outdoor learning; and
  
• engage in discussion to further develop nature play environments which enable high quality learning and support well-being.
