School leaders are invited to attend a 3-hour session covering the main features of the new NAPLAN Analysis Tool for 2008-2016 and its potential for teachers to use NAPLAN data to:

• evaluate the effectiveness of your school’s learning programs
• inform the design for students' future learning to address identified areas for improvement.

Participants will need to bring their own laptop with:

• Microsoft PowerPivot loaded (included in Office 2013 and later, must be loaded as an add-in to Office 2010 see instructions at

• their own school’s NAPLAN Analysis Tool for 2008-2016 (to be delivered in mid-late November to Principals by registered post).
