Registration for 2016 MDI: Measuring Student Wellbeing
EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI) is a population-level, self-report survey of wellbeing and engagement of middle years students. The survey covers how young people think and feel about their lives both inside and outside of school. At the school level, the data can provide a snapshot of students' positive wellbeing and their engagement with learning. This information will assist schools, policy makes and community members to find ways to create environments that help young people flourish in their community.
INFORMATION
The SA Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) is conducting the MDI data collection this year during weeks 1 to 4 of Term 4. Students will be provided with a secure link to the online survey which may take 1 or 2 lessons.
