COURSE INFORMATION

The Secondary Numeracy Network is offered to those teachers in leadership or with a key role in mathematics, numeracy or curriculum in the middle and secondary years. This network is run each term for half a day.

Schools will be reimbursed for every two sessions attended at the rate of a half a day per school (not per teacher/leader attending). Schools are welcome to send more than one teacher/leader.

• building a strong professional learning culture within schools
• engaging in pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) in relation to integers
• using mathematical mistakes to promote a growth mindset
