Making Nests in the Mustard Tree: The Art of Spiritual Leadership
COURSE DESCRIPTION
As a previous participant of the nurturing the mustard seed experience (or the pilot in 2012), you are invited to participate annually in the making nests in the mustard tree: the art of spiritual leadership series. This new program is built on the hope that a leader whose faith is well formed and who continually engages with ongoing formation will more effectively witness to their community.
As leaders in staff spiritual and religious formation the time and ability to reflect on our own spiritual growth is crucial. The aim of the making nests in the mustard tree program is firstly, to facilitate and nurture that internal encounter with God through communal support. Secondly it will allow for purposeful resource and ideas sharing as a response to the contemporary context of participants in their schools, alongside capacity building in the qualities of religious leadership.
The program will be supported by the Staff Spiritual and Religious Formation Team from the CEO.
