This workshop will examine some of the great escape stories recorded in the Bible. Wonderful characters like Noah, Joseph, Jonah and Daniel from the Old Testament, and Peter and Paul in the New Testament, will be analysed. The context of the stories and their religious significance for people in the ancient world will be explored as well as their relevance for 21st century Christians. Students of all ages love engaging with these action-packed adventures! A range of strategies to bring the stories to life in the classroom and links with Crossways Key ideas will also be incorporated.
