DAY 1
COURSE INFORMATIONThis workshop is intended for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Focus Teachers and school leaders with responsibility for ATSI education.
COURSE CONTENT
My Journey: Vonda Last is a Ngaantjatjara woman, born in Kalgoorlie, living in Adelaide. You are invited to spend a day with her on a journey of discovery of what is means to be an Indigenous Australian. Her passion is music and family history. You will learn about her family’s past and how government polices impacted them. Her original music is an expression of her culture. She will perform her songs and work with you on developing an original song to wrap up the day.
