What does God Became Human mean? This one day inservice aims to introduce teachers to a contemporary understanding of the Tradition concerning a fundamental Christian belief that God became human in Jesus - the Incarnation. We will engage with the questions of participants to interactively explore the incarnation (and related understandings about God as Trinity) in a way that assumes little theological background. That God became human underpins Christian spirituality which see all creation as sacred.
The day aims to equip teachers with language, concepts and resources so they are better able to articulate and promote this fundamental Christian belief in school life, the RE curriculum and in personal faith.
