Dear Research School Colleagues

How to give rise to the child as the active protagonist within the Australian Curriculum?  What is the role of the teacher?

The focus of our research this year is the relationship between the principles of the Reggio Emilia educational approach and the Australian Curriculum.

This focus comes from your feedback about the next steps in our research.  We have studied your feedback from last year's research program and we aim to increase the opportunities for sharing with other schools, visiting each other's schools and for working with each other on the questions around how we re-imagine and re-create within a National Framework and in the Australian context.

We hope that colleagues from Australian schools will join us in our seminar program over the year.

Almost all of you asked how your whole school can access the 'input' and the professional development.  There will be opportunities for colleagues from your schools to participate in workshops and seminars.
