WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This 2-day workshop is designed to introduce participants to Office 365 functionality and the possibilities for teaching and learning available in Office 365.

Microsoft Teacher Ambassador, Trent Ray, will facilitate these workshops, introducing teachers to the collaboration and communication capabilities in applications such as OneNote, OneDrive, Office Mix and Sway. Participation in both days is required.

Day 1: Collaborate with Office 365

  • The Power of O365 and Anytime Anywhere Learning
  • 21st Century Learning Design - 'Collaboration'
  • Office 365 tools to facilitate collaboration: OneDrive; Word Online, Excel Surveys, OneNote Class Creator tool, Sites (Mosaic Live Tiles)
  • Curriculum design for classroom implementation OR Presentation Development (create a plan to share & scale support back your school)

Day 2: Create & Curate with Office 365

  • Collaborative curation with Sway
  • Flipped/Blended Classroom with 'Office Mix' and data analytics
  • Facilitating student learning with Teacher Dashboard
  • 21CLD Self-Regulation with 'Office Project'

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

This workshop is for secondary school teachers only. Participants are expected to have a school Office 365 account. However, if you do not currently have an Office 365 account, a number of guest accounts will be available on the day for you to use.
