COURSE DESCRIPTION To be considered for support from the CESA EAL Program in 2017, schools will need to submit data indicating the numbers of EAL students enrolled and their level of need, assessed using the Language and Literacy Levels. To ensure consistency across schools in the interpretation of levels and level decisions, schools must ensure that teachers assessing student texts have attended at least one moderation day conducted by the EAL team. COURSE INFORMATION When: Term 2 - Wednesday 01 June 2016, 9.00am - 4.00pm Thursday 02 June 2016, 9.00am - 4.00pm Friday 03 June 2016, 9.00am - 4.00pm (NOW FULL) Location: Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) 1 South Road, Thebarton A maximum of 30 participants for each workshop

PROGRAM OUTLINE:
IMPRORTANT NOTES:Participants must bring their student work samples including multiple copies if joint levelling, hard or electronic copy of the Language and Literacy Levels and highlighter pens. In consideration of others, participants are reminded that during individual levelling time noise is to be kept to a minimum. Cost: no workshop fee
