WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Participants will become familiar with the ICT Capability, explore strategies and tools to integrate the ICT capability into their learning areas. The sessions will address aspects of the five elements:

  • Applying social and ethical protocols and practices when using ICT
  • Investigating with ICT
  • Creating with ICT
  • Communicating with ICT
  • Managing and operating ICT

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

2 x half day sessions

Participants will explore a variety of Information & Communication Technologies that can be incorporated into teaching and learning with a focus on digital citizenship aligned with the ICT learning continuum. Participants will use collaboration and planning tools eg Padlet and Popplet to design learning for knowledge construction.
