Audience:

Purpose:
To support school leaders with contemporary whole of school processes and structures to undertake effective and continuous literacy learning improvement across all aspects of the curriculum.
To support school leaders to deepen their knowledge and experience about effective literacy practices and pedagogy designed for a diverse range of learners.

Outcomes:
Develop a literacy self-assessment tool aligned with the Continuous Improvement Framework for Catholic Schools.Become familiar with models of change based on principles of personally significant learning Extend knowledge of contemporary literacy principles and practices Examine contemporary paradigms for planning effective literacy practice Establish networks /partnerships for change management in literacy
Program Outline:
This program is designed for school leaders and leaders of literacy in schools. It has been constructed to allow for fluid access to different modules and sessions enabling participants to attend those sessions that support their learning
The program of learning will commence in Term 3 2015 and school leaders and leader of literacy may use this as a platform for planning whole school literacy improvement extending into 2016 and beyond.
