Twilight Series: Engaging with Scripture for Spiritual Leadership

We are writing to bring to your attention a series of three twilight sessions Scripture for School Leaders, which are being hosted by the Staff Spiritual and Religious Formation team.

Session 1: Thursday, May 21 : 4-6 pm

This session will explore Jesus' healings which demonstrate his priority for the vulnerable in society.

Session 2: Thursday, June 4 : 4-6 pm

This session will focus on Jesus and meals - an aspect of Jesus' ministry which demonstrates his priority for sinners and 'outsiders'.

Session 3: Thursday, June 18 : 4-6 pm This session will focus on Jesus' teaching about justice and equality through the genre of parables.

They will be delivered by Kate Ordon and will be held in the large meeting room in the Convent at 112 Kintore Avenue, Thebarton. Light refreshments will be provided.

These sessions have been coordinated in response to School Leaders feedback on the Stimulus and Foundation paper, like a mustard seed.

Whilst there would be an obvious benefit in attending all sessions, the sessions themselves will stand alone.
