Join APRIMs and RECs at the
CESA RELIGIOUS LEADERS SYSTEM DAY
Our Leadership in the Catholic Identity of the Continuous Improvement Framework for Catholic Schools
This is the key annual CESA occasion for all APRIMs, RECs and aspiring religious leaders from around the state, along with the RE Team. We will gather to engage with some key issues related to our shared leadership, in light of some recently released documents. The theme of the day will relate to our leadership in the Catholic Identity Domain (Domain 1) of the CIF - Continuous Improvement Framework for Catholic Schools - in association with Children: Close to God Stimulus Paper.
Program
The morning will involve engaging with the CIF, in particular the Catholic Identity Domain, the stimulus paper, and the experience of 'Doing Theology' in small groups, with some of the challenging issues we face in schools, related to the '5 elements' of the Catholic Identity Domain (Domain 1).
The afternoon will involve exploring the Domain's Catholic Social Teaching element, through a session facilitated by Caritas Australia's Global Education Coordinator Megan Bourke and Adviser (SA) Sarah Cornelius, and focusing on their new educational resources.
