Year 9 Opening a Door Into Asia

Registration Deadline: Tuesday 19 May 2015

The Catholic Education Office in association with the Asia Education Foundation (AEF) would like to invite you and your Year 9 students to Opening a Door Into Asia - a special half-day program designed to showcase the importance of understanding and engaging with Asia and for Year 9 students to explore the connections between Asia and their personal and potential career interests and goals.

Opening a Door Into Asia will focus on the benefits of continuing with the study of languages with special attention to the Asian languages being currently taught in CESA schools: Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Vietnamese. They will be assisted in this by AEF's Asia Literacy Ambassadors, university lecturers, students and recent graduates with Asia related experience, skills and understandings.
