Engaging with nature: Prayerful Reflection
COURSE DESCRIPTION
· Participants will have an opportunity to engage with nature through different forms of prayer and reflection. As we look to engage with our tradition and discern in different ways participants are invited to open their hearts and minds to the grace of God in our environment. We ill explore a process of Doing Theology while drawing on an ecological perspective to guide and nurture our decision making. We will explore the processes of lectio divina, praying in colour and Christian meditation.
· This workshop will encourage and provide opportunities for a change of mind and heart that leads to a deeper love and respect for all creatures as having their own integrity before God. It will invite you to reflect on the wonder of God's creation and human endeavour and enhance your own relationship with God.
