The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Australian Curriculum Standards are intended to give students with disabilities the same rights as other students, including the right to education and training ‘on the same basis’ as students without disability. What adjustments can be made when teaching the Being Sexual strand to ensure that this right is upheld? This workshop will feature guest speakers with diverse experiences in this important area of education.
