INTEGRATING THE ICT CAPABILITY INTO TEACHING & LEARNING - 3 HALF DAYS

Participants will become familiar with the ICT Capability, explore strategies and tools to integrate the capability into their learning areas.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course will address aspects of the five elements of the Australian Curriculum ICT Capability:

  • Applying social and ethical protocols and practices  when using ICT
  • Investigating with ICT
  • Creating with ICT
  • Communicating with ICT
  • Managing and operating ICT

Participants will explore a variety of Information & Communication Technologies that can be incorporated into teaching and learning. Participants will reflect on and share ideas about how they can provide opportunities for students to develop their ICT capability.

A combination of PCs and iPads will be used.
